BCMB 562: Introduction to Electron Microscopy of Biological Samples

Course Description

Theoretical and practical considerations of imaging biological samples in both scanning and transmission electron microscopy. The course will also cover aspects of sample preparation, staining, specialized imaging techniques and analytical applications for biological specimens. Students will apply selected techniques to their research project during the semester.
